The Supplier Development Programme’s annual Meet the Buyer Event will now take place as a live virtual event on 2 June 2020.
The event will focus on suppliers engaging with public sector buyers through a “Twitter Takeover” supported by two Supplier Development Programme (SDP) training webinars.
Register your interest in participating in Meet the Buyer Live on the official event page on the SDP website. Updates will then be emailed to you as they are announced.
Suppliers are also encouraged to separately book their places on to two webinars:
- Frameworks & Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) will run in the morning and
- Public Contracts Scotland (PCS): What would you like to know? will run in the afternoon.
Suppliers will be able to interact on Twitter, follow the #MeetThe Buyer2020 hashtag and ask real time questions to public sector buyers that will participate in a “Twitter Takeover” of the SDP Scotland account on 2 June. In this way, you can ask the questions on Twitter than you would have asked face-to-face at a Meet the Buyer event.
