Fife’s Economic Strategy

Fife’s Economic Strategy 2017-27 is our economic strategy for the region.

It sets out the way Fife Council, the Fife Economy Partnership and Opportunities Fife Partnership will work together over the next 10 years to achieve stronger, sustainable and more resilient economic growth for Fife’s businesses, growth which is shared by all.

The Strategy identifies four priority area where actions will be targeted:

  • Achieving fairer, more inclusive growth

  • Increasing investment in Fife’s business infrastructure

  • Improving business growth through increased internationalisation, sales and exports

  • Fostering a culture of innovation and enterprise

Fife Council Business Charter

Fife Council’s Business Charter sets out how it will support the region’s businesses, whatever their size or sector. Designed to make contact with the council easier and more effective, it signposts to where you can receive advice to both start-up and grow.  The charter also outlines how you can help make sure the benefits of Fife’s Economic growth are shared by all by offering employment and training opportunities for local people, including those with disabilities, paying the living wage, taking on apprenticeships and working with schools.
