In-work poverty in Scotland is on the rise, with many working families finding themselves in poverty due to wages not increasing at the same rate as the cost of day-to-day living.

Find out more about in-work poverty and how to support your employees at a half-day course delivered by Citizens Advice and Rights Fife.

The course aims to provide managers and supervisors of staff with practical skills to recognise when an employee’s financial situation may be affecting their work and how to approach the issue with that person.

It will also provide information on the local sources of support that your employees may be able to access.

The course is being run on two dates:

  • The morning of Tuesday 22 May at Fife Voluntary Action, Glenrothes
  • The afternoon of Tuesday 29 May at Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline.

If you’d like a place on either one of these courses, please download and complete the booking form and email to kelly.higgins@nhs.net.
